Game developer Firaxis has announced that "Civilization VI" will be released on Oct. 21 and it will have big changes to the game franchise. It will have a brand-new engine, which will give life to its brand new visual style.

Recently, the game developers have announced a new "Civilization" game, and it will be launched on the PC platform. This will be the first main entry in the game franchise since its predecessor, "Civilization V" in 2010. The new game will still have the same formula of its predecessor, but there are changes that could look big to many fans of the game franchise.

According to The Verge, a brand new game engine was used to build the upcoming game, and it was used to support the new visual style. The new look will have a brighter and more detailed look on every single content in the game, from units to the game environment. Lead producer Dennis Shirk said in a statement that the new look will all be functional, and not just purely cosmetic.

According to the game's official website, the game developers promised that it will still have the same features that fans have loved since its predecessor, but it will have some new content that will make go further. The game offers new ways to engage with the world like the cities can now physically expand across the map, and the opponents will have their own agendas, which will be based on their historical traits.

The players' empires can expand across the map in this new game, unlike its predecessors where it only stayed a few tiles. Players can take advantage of multiple tiles so that they can customize their cities, and take advantage of the land area.

There is a new feature that players will definitely like, which is the combined arms feature. Units on the field can now be embedded with support units, like anti-tank support with infantry. They can also combine units to create stronger and more powerful Corps units.

Veterans and newbie players will be able to enjoy the game experience with new tutorials to help them along the way and without making the game too simple to play. Tutorial missions will introduce the new game's complex features to make it easier to understand.
