Bethesda's most likely release date for the anticipated "Elder Scrolls 6" game is 2019. This is according to an analysis done by gaming analysts, deducing that Bethesda releases new "Elder Scrolls" games in a four-year window.
Counting from "The Elder scrolls: Online's" release on June 9 for Xbox One and PlayStation 4, the next installation's release date falls on the year 2019. This dismisses reports that claim that gamers will experience "The Elder Scrolls 6" as early as 2017.
Also, it can be noted that Bethesda is devoted to focusing on the games that it is currently working on. With this in mind, it was cited by Neurogadget that the developer was 100 percent focused on working on "Fallout 4," which further points out that "TES6" will not be coming out anytime soon.
However, in an interview with the publication, vice President of PR and Marketing at Bethesda Pete Hine confirmed that the sixth instalment will be happening. But development will start as soon as the "Fallout 4" DLC is released on May 19.
This means that the game's announcement may not happen at the E3 2016 as previously hinted. Rather, the most likely date of announcement, according to gaming analysts, could be in the E3 2017.
Hine also hinted that "The elder Scrolls 6" will be a continuation of the "Skyrim" storyline by repeatedly using "Skyrim 2" to describe the next game. This triggered rumors suggesting that the next installation will be directly related to Oblivion or Morrowide.
The location of "TES6" remains a topic of debate as fans prospect for game settings in Valenwood, Argonis, and Elsweyr. If the game takes the storyline of "Skyrim," the most likely setting will be Valenwood, assuming that the theme is centered on Thalmor group as seen in "Skyrim."
Meanwhile, according to Game and Guide, Bethesda has created a job listing indicating that the developer is looking for a new character artist to work on its next project. Many fans believe that the listing hints that work on "Elder Scrolls 6" is about to commence.
Reportedly, "The Elder Scrolls" development will start this month, although the game developer has not officially announced anything concerning the game development yet.
