Prince's memorial was held on Sunday night at Jehovah's Witnesses Church, the same place where the music legend used to worship before his mysterious death in April. A huge number of mourners assembled in the Kingdom Hall to remember the megastar.

Prince's memorial, although an invitation-only event, did not stop people from gathering around the church. A number of fans and media personnel lined up on the street in front of the Jehovah's Witnesses Church in the Minneapolis suburb of Minnetonka.

Kari Spreeman, the city spokeswomen, said last week that the police were preparing to handle up to 500 people, including 50 high-profile visitors, Billboard has learned. People who were not able to make inside of the church were later able to obtain the details of the program from the reporters.

The program details revealed that the memorial began with the song "He Will Call," followed by an opening prayer. The program also included an interview with Prince's spiritual mentor, Larry Graham, the person who introduced him to the Jehovah's Witnesses faith for the first time. The program concluded with the song "See Yourself When All Is New" and a closing prayer.

Graham had previously said in an interview with The Associated Press that Prince considered it important for himself to present his fans joy, through the gift of his music. However, the most important thing for the music legend was to be able to share scripture.

Music legend Prince died on April 21 under mysterious circumstances at his Paisley Park studio and home. His cause of death is still unknown and the conditions under which he dies are still being investigated. The autopsy report has not been released yet as well.

While it is still not confirmed, opioid drug overdose is considered to be one of the primary reasons behind Prince's death. The singer had also met a local family care physician with specialization in obstetrics, twice in the weeks before his death, The Guardian reported.

The police is currently investigating whether Prince was prescribed any drugs weeks before his death or if he was purchasing them on his own. The following video examines what opioid overdose really is:
