Big Bang's G-Dragon and Japanese model Nana Komatsu are caught up in dating rumors. Most recent news claims that the pair were reportedly dating, having spotted them on a dinner date on May 6 in Japan.
On May 17, Tuesday, a Japanese magazine reported that the rapper and Japanese model spent time together after Big Bang's fan club meeting event, "~ FANTASTIC BABYS 2016 ~," in the said country. Along with some friends and staff members, the pair had dinner together at a steak restaurant in the Azabu district of Tokyo, Japan, Soompi reported.
Soon after the news circulated on the web, a video clip of their reported restaurant date has been posted on Instagram as well. The video shows that the 27-year-old singer-songwriter is seating beside Komatsu.

Adding more fuel to the dating rumors, it was learned that the 20-year-old Japanese actress-model is a huge fan of G-Dragon. In the past, Komatsu shared a post on her SNS after a Big Bang concert, stating that she better work hard, so she can meet Kwon Ji Yong (G-Dragon) in the near future.
In May 2015, Komatsu was over the moon when she met G-Dragon at a Chanel collection in Seoul, South Korea. The two met again this year in March and embraced a "[BOY≒GIRL] Nearly Equal" concept in a photo shoot for Nylon Japan.
"I was very nervous about working with someone who had me starstruck," Komatsu said in an accompanying interview. "I told G-Dragon that it feels like a dream that I am working with him."
There is also numerous newsstand in Japan who pointed out that Komatsu and Japanese-Americal model Kiko Mizuhara have a similar image, stating that it reportedly corresponds with G-Dragon's ideal type.
Nonetheless, avid fans are not buying the claims and stressed that the dinner date could just be a friendly meeting since G-Dragon and Komatsu recently collaborated for the 16-page feature of Nylon Japan's May issue.
In other news, G-Dragon and veteran actress Jun Ji Hyun is poised to work together in a new commercial film (CF) for Shinsegae Duty-Free Shop, News Everyday reported. It was reported that the filming of the new CF will kick off later this month, stating that the month of May and June are an ideal opportunity to film new CF in perspective of the looming summer season.
