Akira Toriyama mentioned that "Dragon Ball Super's" storyline would feature the Gods of Destruction and the Omni-King. Now, it is believed that Black Goku is also a deity.
"Dragon Ball Super" fans are excited in the wake of a big announcement about the series' upcoming major plot. Theories have emerged focusing on Future Trunks and Black Goku - the two characters that were mentioned by series creator Toriyama.
Trunks' role in the upcoming arc is straightforward. However, the identity and background of the arc's main villain called Black Goku is still in question. There are many rumors about the antagonist, but one specific rumor might turn out to be accurate.
The series creator unveiled details about the upcoming arc, indicating that the chaos caused by Black Goku would be so serious that the Gods of Destructions and Omni-King would be involved in a battle. As a result, in case these extremely overpowered characters take part in the fight, Black Goku must be a great threat.
Meanwhile, "Dragon Ball Super" television anime series official website unveiled that the series will begin a "Future Trunks Arc" on June 12. Toriyama is plotting the storyline and designing the new characters for the narrative, including Trunks' design.
When Trunks' design was revealed, many fans discovered that the character's iconic purple hair color changed to a light blue hue. While the change might only be cosmetic for purposes of the upcoming arc, it is alleged that there might be a hidden meaning behind this change.
