Pei's recent tweet suggests that the Chinese firm will not sell OnePlus 3 through invitation program. The OnePlus 2 and OnePlus One smartphones were both sold through invitation system. However, the company has still not confirmed whether customers need to have invitations to purchase the OnePlus 3 smartphone.

In an interview with CNET, Pei said that apart from accepting payments from PayPal, the company will support payments via credit cards. He also confirmed that the OnePlus 3 will be sporting a captivating new design like the OnePlus One.

One of the recently leaked photos of OnePlus 3 indicate that the smartphone will not feature Sandstone rear panel, but it will be replaced by metal casing that will carry a matte appeal. The rear panel also sports antenna bands on its top and bottom portions.

The overall design of OnePlus 3 appears quite different form its predecessor models. Rumors also hint that the external speakers, LED flash for camera and 3.5 mm headphone slot have been repositioned on OnePlus 3, Gadgets 360 reported.

Just as OnePlus revealed numerous information of OnePlus 2 before its arrival, the rumor mill has revealed plenty of details about the OnePlus 3 variants as well as its leaked photos. Speculations indicate that the OnePlus 3 will be launched in two storage versions of 32 GB and 64 GB.

Like most flagships of 2016, the OnePlus 3 is expected to be fueled by Snapdragon 820. Its 32 GB variant is speculated to house 4 GB of RAM and it is likely to carry a price tag of $310. The 64 GB OnePlus 3 would be coming with 6 GB of RAM and it is expected to be available for $385.

Both the models are expected to house 5.5-inch AMOLED screen that will carry support for full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. Other common features of both variants include 16 MP rear shooter, 8 MP selfie camera and a 3000 mAh camera. The OnePlus 3 release date is expected to happen as early as next month.
