The latest leaks from OnePlus flagship are pointing out at a possible 15 minutes charging time for its upcoming OnePlus 3 smartphone. This will be achieved through the company's new charging technology dubbed "Dash Charge."

It will be an added feature to the improved power system of the new flagship phone. In line with the latest reports, OnePlus 3 will include a superior 3500mAh battery, which will surpass 3300mAh of the OnePlus 2.

The battery will then have "Dash Charge" as a supplementary battery improvement feature to help with fast charging needs. The feature is rumored to be OnePlus' take on Oppo's VOOC, Samsung's Fast charge, and Qualcomm's Quick charge technologies.

Notably, OnePlus 3's predecessor lacked Qualcomm's Quick Charge feature despite packing a Qualcomm's Snapdragon 810 processor. Therefore, suggestions are that Oneplus' intentions are to include a fast-charging feature in their next flagship smartphone without depending on the processor.

According to PC Advisor, besides battery efficiency, OnePlus 3 will also come with other high-end specs like a Snapdragon 820 processor, inbuilt support for Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0, and Adreno 530 graphics. The 64-based quad-core processor will boost the phone's processing speed, fusing all operations with better battery efficiency.

Oneplus 3 will come in two variants, one with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of inbuilt storage, and the other with 6GB of RAM and 64GB inbuilt storage. The two models will be priced at $308 and $385 respectively, giving impressions of generous prices for such high-end specs.

Further leakages from china are hinting of a possible unveiling of another version with 128GB of internal storage, although the pricing details have not been highlighted yet. The aforementioned prices go in line with earlier reports, which surfaced when Oneplus 3 was spotted in benchmark testing sites in March.

In regard to other specs, OnePlus 3 will feature a 5.5-inch Full-HD display, a 16-Megapixel rear camera, and an 8-Megapixel front camera, Gadgets 360 reported. Another unconfirmed report is that it may run on an OxygenOS based on the Android Marshmallow operating system.

As for the release date, OnePlus 3 will be announced this month or in early June.
