Samsung's Galaxy Note 6 could be gearing up to be one of their most powerful phablets yet with 6GB LPDDR4 RAM and a massive 4000mAh battery for that extra juice.

There are also rumors that Samsung will be launching a Galaxy Note 6 Edge variant which will have a curved edge screen just like the one found in the Galaxy S7 Edge. It has been several years before the South Korean tech company launched such a model for the public.

Besides the Galaxy S8 and the Galaxy S8 Edge, fans are also waiting for the unveiling of the phablet. It could even be more powerful than the company's flagship phone.

The 6GB LPDDR4 RAM that will be present in the Galaxy Note 6 was shown in the recent Samsung Mobile Solutions Forum that was held in China. While it was not explicitly said which phones will be using the new 10nm chip, it is clear that it would probably their next phones.

Even the massive size of the RAM is enough for an Android tech geek to drool. Most flagship phones today like the LG G5, the OnePlus 2 and the Xiaomi Mi Note Pro have 4GB for their RAM.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 6 with its 6GB LPDDR4 RAM will be the first smartphone in the industry to sport the 10nm memory chip, Slashgear has learned. If no other phablet or phone has that kind of RAM, the South Korean tech company will have a world's first tech wonder on their hands.

To power the new phablet, it would need more battery capacity than before. Samsung will be fitting the new phone with a massive 4000mAh battery for it to last more than a day with its massive 5.9-inch screen.

In addition, the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow version with TouchWiz Ui will help the battery run longer than before thanks to the Doze feature. The Samsung Galaxy Note 6 is also expected to have a base model with 32GB for the internal storage, NDTV reported.

Other specs of the upcoming phone could be a QHD Super AMOLED display screen with the Snapdragon 820 SoC from Qualcomm. The storage is still expandable with a microSD card slot.

Samsung is expected to announce the Galaxy Note 6 and the Galaxy Note 6 Edge in the upcoming Computex 2016 event. Fans will finally be able to know whether it will feature the new 6GB LPDDR4 RAM and the 4000mAh battery.
