As September is nearing, more and more rumors regarding the upcoming iPhone 7 are rounding up the internet lately. One of the most recent speculations today is a more protruding camera for the newest Apple flagship.
A photo of a genuine iPhone 7 rear case leaked recently which gave additional information to the device's library of rumors and speculations. This new information debunked the previous speculation that Apple will be removing the protruding camera from the iPhone 6 by letting it seat on the same level with its case, Mac Rumors reported. But it would not be the case because of the recent development.
The report mentioned that the leaked photo which has only been posted this morning came from Weibo. Looking further at the rear photo of the iPhone 7 suggests other notable features that might come in the new device. The lens hole seems to be larger compared with the iPhone 6S, suggesting that the upcoming phone may have an upgraded camera module. In addition, the leaked photo may have confirmed a previous speculation of redesigned antenna lines for the new iPhone as these were removed at the photo of the rear iPhone 7 case from by Weibo. Images of screen cable components were also included in the leaked photos and these suggested significant difference in the iPhone 6S.
Other features that will reportedly be installed in the new iPhone include use of dual-lens camera, 16 GB, 64 GB and 256 GB variants, increasing the previous 128 to 256 GB and retaining the lower memory of 16 GB. A touch-sensitive home button, a "bezel-less" display and incorporation of EMI shielding technology may also be included as upgrades and improvement, WCCF Tech reported.
It can be recalled that earlier this year, other speculations like removal of the head phone jack and improvement of the phone speakers in terms of area will be included in the new Apple smart phone. Despite all these rumors, they must still be taken with a grain of salt until the California-based tech company reveals and unveil the new generation of iPhone that will hit stores by September.
