Apple will have to confirm a lot of the speculations regarding the iPhone 7 as a new photo now shows a dual camera setup and a massive 256GB module.

If the photo is indeed authentic, it would confirm the earlier rumors for the iPhone 7 having a dual camera setup for the rear. The leaked photo was provided by Steve Hemmerstoffer who is a well-known leaker in the tech industry.

Apple will reportedly launch the iPhone 7 in different sizes with the largest having a 5.5-inch screen. The smallest would still be a 4-inch phone while the mid-range would have 4.7 inches for the display.

The Cupertino-based company has several months left before it will finally announce the new phone. No specs have been confirmed yet so far but some of the speculations do add up.

There have been several reports a couple of weeks back that claim that there will be a dual camera setup. In addition, the specs could also feature 256GB for the internal storage which makes sense considering that Apple is not a fan of microSD card slots or expandable storage.

Unfortunately, not all of the models would have the dual camera setup. The largest iPhone 7 is the only one reportedly getting the new camera module, Slashgear has learned.

The 16GB option could still be available once the line is officially unveiled. Apple has always been reluctant to replace it with 32GB even in their previous products.

In terms of RAM, the iPhone 7 could have at least 2GB for the base model and 3GB for the higher-end variants. The 256GB internal storage also makes sense considering its 4K video capability as the recorded files will take up large spaces, Forbes reported.

Some video games on the App Store also have larger than usual sizes. This is true especially for 3D-heavy games that can go up to more than 2GB in size plus the user's media files can also fill the storage fast.

Apple will have to confirm the dual camera setup and the 256GB internal storage once the iPhone 7 has officially been unveiled. For now, fans will have to be content with all the speculations and rumors.
