Texas mom wearing a Chewbacca mask, who gained popularity with her Facebook video that garnered 140 million views, drove "The Late Late Show" host James Corden to work and was even joined by Star Wars director J.J. Abrams.

In the sketch, Candace Payne is enjoying her mask when Corden got into the passenger seat grumbling about being late. He even asked Payne if they can leave at once but she only responded with a laughter saying, "I'm such a happy Chewbacca!"

Abrams, who is said to have been there the whole time at the backseat, joined the pair giving a quick note that Payne indeed sounded like Chewbacca and he also gave his own impression of the Star Wars character while wearing his own mask. Grumpy Corden, who was no longer annoyed, also joined the fun with his own Chewbacca mask. The trio burst into laughter while wearing their masks.

Fans of the Carpool Karaoke won't see Corden and Payne belting songs. Instead, Corden allowed us all to see that there is an awesome mother of two behind the mask. The host asked Payne why she made the video that made her an instant internet star.

"I'm a stay-at-home mom. I only had a few minutes before I had to go get my kids from school. I wanted to prove to all my Facebook friends and family that the mask was mine," Payne according to People. "I knew the moment [my children] saw it, they were going to take it from me. And I'm like, 'I didn't buy it for you, little kids.' I love you, but this isn't for you."

Payne said that after uploading the video to Facebook which she recorded using Facebook Live, it had 1,000 views. She even texted a friend about it and she was surprised when she woke up the next morning with 20 million views on her video, Today reported.

Aside from having Abrams with them, Corden also surprised Payne with a message from the actor behind the Chewbacca suit, Peter Mayhew. He praised the video and its message to enjoy even the little things in life. He also invited her to attend a fan expo in Dallas so they could meet each other in person.
