An upgraded and redesigned MacBook Pro is among Apple laptops that avid fans have been anticipating, according to MacRumors. The come via KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who has a reputation of making correct predictions of features of the companies' most notable devises.

Ming-Chi Kuo predicts MacBook Pro 2016 will come in two variants - 13-inch and 15-inch. The two laptops are set to be in the market by the last quarter of this year.

With Apple's new technology of metal-injection mold-made hinges and proprietary butterfly-mechanism keyboard, the laptops are expected to be thinner and lighter than the earlier models of the company's high-end machines. Rumors have it that the upgraded MacBook Pro will integrate Touch Id, with the option to unlock the device through an iPhones fingerprint sensor coming very soon.

The most conspicuous feature according the Verge will supposedly be the OLED display touch bar as par Kuo's speculations. The OLED display is to replace physical function keys of the laptop, though this technology has proven tricky to be absorbed as shown by firms like Lenovo and Razer.

Despite the poor reception of the OLED technology by customers and critics from earlier implementers, it will not be a surprise if this trend is reversed since Apple has a record of making innovations work. It is rumored that the 2016 MacBook Pro may feature Skylake processors and AMD's 400 series Polaris graphics chips. This year's update is giving the upgraded MacBook Pro an edge before its coming release.

Stay tuned for further details as soon as they trickle in. Here is a sneak peek to have a glimpse of what the imminent MacBook Pro 2016 will look like when it finally releases.
