"Supergirl" season 2 could see Kara (Melissa Benoist) and Winn (Jeremy Jordan) could eventually see the two characters reunite.

In the previous season, Winn confessed his feelings for Kara, but the latter told him that they could only be friends.

At first, there was a certain level of awkwardness between the two friends who were used to always doing things together.

However, Winn eventually came to terms with the fact that Kara or Supergirl had feelings for her colleague.

In an interview with TV Line, Jordan said that he's somewhat happy that his character's storyline was changed from being someone who was running after a woman.

'I don't know if we need to see it in every episode, like we did at the beginning of the season - I certainly think that it's not over nor will losing Supergirl be any easier. I think it's going to be a little difficult for him to see basically his two best friends together. He and James are super close now, and they all work at the same place," he said.

Meanwhile, "Supergirl" season 2 will be transferring from CBS to The CW starting its first episode back.

According to the same publication, the filming of the series will officially move to Vancouver City.

Entertainment writer Michael Ausiello said that Calista Flockhart's Cat Grant may not be part of the first two to three episodes of "Supergirl" because the actress will definitely not relocate to Vancouver throughout the entire duration of the filming.

However, there is also no truth to the rumors that she will officially leave the series.

"You may lose her for an episode or two (or three... since there's no way Calista Flockhart will be moving to Canada full-time)... but I highly doubt you'll lose her completely. CW president Mark Pedowitz confirmed that Flockhart 'wants to continue with the show.' Now all sides just need to figure out the scheduling," he said.

"Supergirl" season 2 is also expected to have at least one crossover with The CW's "Arrow" season 5 and "The Flash" season 3.

"Supergirl" season 2 will premiere on The CW sometime this year.
