The 13-inch MacBook 2016 will replace the present generation of MacBook Air and will be identical to that of the 12-inch Retina model. It will become the mid-range option in the company's notebook family.

Apple will position the 11-inch MacBook Air as the entry level notebook. The MacBook Pro series will be retained as the high-end variant of the notebook line-up.

However, some reports suggest that Cupertino-based giant may kill the MacBook Air series and replace it with the upcoming MacBook Pro.

According to a BGR report, the MacBook Pro 2016 will have Touch ID support and a OLED display touch bar above the keyboard. The OLED screen will enable owners to create their own custom keys for every app.

The 2016 MacBook Pro will be powered by Intel's newest Skylake chipsets together with a 256GB in-built storage option. The forthcoming MacBook Pro models are rumored to come in two screen sizes, 15-inch and 13-inch with 16GB and 8GB of RAM.

It is expected that the new MacBook Pro models will have Thunderbolt 3 and USB-C support and will use new metal injection moulded hinges, MacRumors reported.

Rumors are doing the rounds that the software company will also roll out the iPhone 7 Plus and the iPhone 7 smartphones in June this year.

According to many reports, the iPhone 7 will look like its predecessor in terms of design. It is believed that the iPhone 7 will feature a 4.7-inch screen and the iPhone 7 Plus will feature a 5.5-inch display.

Some of the rumored features of the smartphones include a dual-lens DSLR-style camera with optical image stabilization, 3GB/2GB RAM, iOS 10 operating system and A10 chip.

In addition, the two smartphones will come without antenna band and Home button. Previous reports suggested that the headphone jack will be replaced by a lightning jack. However, according to recent reports, the 3.5mm headphone jack will remain.
