The latest details for "Deadpool 2" will feature another actor who wants to play Cable and the reasons why he is in the sequel.
It seems that another actor is interested in playing the role of Nathaniel Summers/Cable in "Deadpool 2" film as "Pacific Rim" star Ron Perlman posted several fan art photos on Intagram as the time travelling X-Men member.
Perlman has already experienced playing comic book characters in movies such as "Hellboy" and "Blade 2" and several fans agreed to the fact that he has the right image and age to fit the character. Not only, that Perlman tweeted several post that humorous and seriously endorsing himself for the role in "Deadpool 2" going so far as declaring that Cable should be playing him instead.
Several actors joining Perlman for the role of Cable includes "Avatar" actor Stephen Lang and "The Expendables" star Dolph Lundgren during his interview as he described Cable as mix of "Ivan Drago" from the "Rocky" films and Gunner Jensen from "The Expendalbles" franchise.
Meanwhile, "Deadpool" director Tim Miller teased several details on what kind of role will Cable have during the events of "Deadpool 2". Miller stated that Cable was put in the sequel with Wade Wilson/Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds) is because they needed a "straight man", who has to put up with Wade's craziness and nonsense similar to how Colossus (Stefan Kapičić) in the first movie, Cinemablend reported.
Cable's silent, gruff and serious personality will likely counter balance Deadpool's wise cracking, crazy and unpredictable personality making them a popular duo to both comic book fans and movie goers.
"X-Men" director Bryan Singer teased that Deadpool could be included in future "X-Men" films, but they will need to blend a character as irreverent and meta as Deadpool and connect him to something as grounded and serious as the X-Men. Without the proper planning it will likely end in disaster.
So far Colosus and Negasonic Teenage Warhead (Brianna Hildebrand ) are the only X-Men members that Wade Wilson has interacted and fans will like to see of that very soon.
"Deadpool 2's" release date is speculated to be on 2018 as Fox reserved the January 12 spot possibly placing the sequel there.
