Oscar Isaac talked about his roles and mentioned being pilot Poe Dameron in the 2015 "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" had been for him the most difficult and straightforward character he has portrayed so far. He had played various roles, such as being an eccentric tech billionaire named Nathan in the 2015 "Ex Machina" and as a Yonkers politician in "Show Me A Hero." He is in Marvel's "X-Men: Apocalypse" playing the titular mutant super villain, Apocalypse.

"It's extra-challenging when there's less characterization involved," he told Rolling Stone about Dameron in an interview for the magazine's cover story. Isaac saw Dameron as not being him, that even the way the character talked was different.

For his role as Apocalypse, Isaac studied cults, such as the Source Family and read the Book of Revelation again to know more about Apocalypse. For him, the character is similar to a god who "has been asleep, and he wakes up tomorrow and he's like, 'No, this wasn't supposed to be it.' And he's pissed."

The Guatemalan actor got really slim for his role in his latest film with intense regimen and did not know he would wear makeup and a giant suit. When he thought his character would be animated, such as with a CGI, Director Bryan Singer told him he wanted it to be as practical as possible. Isaac took the challenge.

Singer got Apocalypse's vocal sound by recording Isaac during automatic dialogue replacement as if he were a bass guitar or a drum kit. The director installed a bass microphone on Isaac's right cheek and a bass drum on his left cheek, then amplified his voice to come up with a unique voice for the villain.

Meanwhile, Isaac's dance moves have recently become a social media sensation. The "viral sensation" just adds up to the résumé of the Guatemalan actor, according to People.

In 2015, Isaac's character Nathan danced with Kyoko to the tune of "Get Down Saturday Night" by Oliver Cheatham. Now, a user named "oscardances" in Twitter discovered that Isaac's dance moves in the scene fits perfectly to any song.

Isaac's moves fit well with Survivor's "Eye of the Tiger," The Bee Gee's "Staying Alive" and Lady Gaga's "Telephone." Song requests poured in to the Twitter account and every resulting video was just perfect.

Here's a trailer of the "X-Men: Apocalypse" focused on Isaac's character.
