"The Bachelorette" Season 12 (2016) premiered last week and it is set to air Week 2 events of the contest that features JoJo Fletcher's first one-on-one date and a group date. Meanwhile, one bachelor stirs up tension at the cocktail party with his annoying behaviour. Here are detailed spoilers for episode 2. Read on to find out what happens next. The Season 12 premiere saw some exciting limo arrivals and meet and greet. But before that former bachelorettes Kaitlyn Bristowe, Desire Hartsock and Ali Fedotowsky advised Fletcher on being the bachelorette. Later, Luke Pell received the first rose from Fletcher and Coline "Coley" Knust, Jake Patton, Jonathan Hamilton, Nick Sharp, Peter Medina and Sal DeJulio were eliminated.
Moving on to "The Bachelorette" Season 12 (2016) Week 2. ABC has released detailed synopsis for the forthcoming segment on its official website. According to the press release, fans must brace themselves for an "explosive" first one-on-one date and the action-packed group date.
First one-on-one date
For her first date, Fletcher goes out with Derek Peth, a 29-year-old banker from Iowa. The couple goes on a romantic picnic by the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco. The couple spends some quality time. However, Derek finds it tough to open up about his past relationship.
First Group Date
For the first group date, ten bachelors get a chance to impress the bachelorette as they undergo firefighting training facility. The men undergo boot-camp-like drills that leaves one bachelor exhausted as he passes out. Towards the end, only three men are left in the competition wherein they must save Fletcher from a burning tower. The bachelor who succeeds in the rescue mission gets alone time with the bachelorette.
However, the competition does not end here. According to the spoilers, things get tensed at the after-group date party. Here, bachelors struggle to impress Fletcher and get the date rose. It is said that the bachelorette leaves everyone shocked when she gives away the rose to an unexpected bachelor.
Second Group Date
For the second group date, six bachelors get a chance to meet ESPN"s "SportsNation" co-hosts Max Kellerman and Marcellus Wiley. The celebrity guests help Fletcher find the men who are here for the right reasons. The bachelors are supposed to participate in a series of challenges that included dances, romantic proposal and more. During this event, Chad shocks everyone with his unexpected behaviour with Fletcher. Drama ensues at the cocktail party where Chad continues to annoy other men and create chaos.
In addition, Reality Steve, "The Bachelorette" blogger has posted episode-by-episode spoilers for Season 12 (2016) on his blog. According to the RS, three bachelors are eliminated at the rose ceremony eliminations: Will Haduch, Brandon Howell and James Spadafore.
