The final episodes of "Arrow" Season 4 and "The Flash" Season 2 have left fans speculating about what's to come when new episodes come out this fall.  But most certainly, our heroes will face bigger foes and challenges that will once against put their limits to the test.

Oliver Queen has gone through a lot of changes throughout the four-season run of "Arrow." From operating as a solo vigilante to working with a team and building relationships, Oliver has grown to become a well-rounded hero. He started out beating up crooks in Starling City and later faced an enemy with mystical powers in Season 4. But actor Stephen Amell is hoping to go back to basics in "Arrow" Season 5.

"When we started Arrow, we were the superpower-less superhero show," Amell told Entertainment Weekly. "Because of our success and because of opportunities that The CW has had, we've had to break away from that original modus operandi a little bit," he added.

Amell added that since The CW is not introducing a new show this year, they will "need to get back to focusing more on some of the core elements that used to define Arrow." To him, that includes "hand-to-hand- combat, no superpowers, and dealing with the job of cleaning up Star City."

With that said, it is likely that the big bang in "Arrow" Season 5 will have no superpowers. Amell previously revealed that his new nemesis is "charming and charismatic," and is something you can only pull off in the "fifth, sixth or seventh season of a TV show."

In the later part of "Arrow" Season 4, viewers find Oliver's sister Thea at a crossroads as she struggles to control her inner blood lust. At the beginning of "Arrow" Season 5, Thea (Willa Holland) will be doing some soul searching

Perhaps Colton Haynes' return to the series as Roy Harper will help Thea sort out her issues. According to Mirror, Holland said she'd "put a ring on that" in reference to her onscreen beau Roy, indicating that the superhero couple may get back together after that heartbreaking split in the fourth season.
