This new episode is titled "The Surprising Number One." The preview trailer for "Naruto Shippuden" episode 463 translates, "My role has come to an end. Many are speculating that "Naruto Shippuden" episode 463 will showcase the reverse harem jutsu.

In the previous episode titled "I Created the Past," Hamura is under Kaguya's mind control. He is wounded and healed, later he joins Hagoromo in a battle against Kaguya.

Black Zetsu states that this fight lasted for months and Kaguya had to summon the Ten Tails.

However, Hagoromo and Hamura are able to seal Kaguya and successfully split the Ten Tails into nine souls. Hamura stays with his mother on the moon while Hagoromo decides to be present on Earth.

Many fans have praised this short Kaguya backstory arc.

"This Kaguya filler is the best filler they've done in awhile. No problem with being away from the actual fight for something like this. I would've loved to have them do even just one episode of them actually fighting. They didn't need to show fights spanning months, just an episode or two of fighting at different intervals/etc and actually show fighting.

Instead of months of filler on stupid dreams, they should've had the stupid Juubito/Madara stuff play out in order, brought Kaguya in and then got to the backstory of her and ran with that for the same time period. They could've really filled out her backstory and done a crazy fight with her and Hagoromo & Hamura that would've eaten up the same timeframe," Suppaman19 said on Reddit.
