As augmented reality starts to become a new trend in gaming, many Pokémon fans anticipate the mobile game "Pokémon Go." As the beta version of the much awaited game goes live in the United State, many hopeful fans started thinking that the game may arrive for everybody sooner than expected.
The speculation that the mobile game "Pokémon Go" may be arriving sooner comes as game developer Niantic releases the beta version of the game in the United States, according to Express.co.uk. "It's getting closer," Niantic announced.
The company added, "It's been sort of like making a big meal for your friends or family. We have been sweating the details in the kitchen and now we are anxious and excited to share our creation with you." The company has also taken the opportunity to thank those, around the world, who willingly agreed to participated in the best tests
The developer has yet to state a definite release date but they did announce that new features have been added to the game and those new features will be tested by the lucky ones who are part of the expanded beta. In addition, the company has also revealed that Venusaur can be earned through the newly added features.
Meanwhile, in April, "Pokémon Go" was being tested in Australia and New Zealand, according to PC Advisor . Around that time, one tester reportedly revealed through a Reddit thread that all the 150 original Pokémons will be included in the game but Bulbasaur, Charmander, Pikachu and Squirtle will be quite difficult to find. The currently running beta tests can only mean that the official release may just be around the corner and there are reportedly those who think the hand-held game might come out in the second quarter of 2016.
At the moment, Niantic is hoping to get more feedback from the expanded beta testing in the US. It is safe to conclude that the developer is most likely just making sure that the product is completely stable before it would finally release it to the general public.
In the same manner, the developer may already be in the process of adding the final touches to the game. Once released, "Pokemon Go" will be available on both iOS and android Devices.
