The Samsung Galaxy J7 (2016) was initially launched in China on March 29, 2016 together with the Samsung Galaxy J5, before reaching other markets one month later. The Moto G4 Plus was announced in May this year.

The Moto G4 Plus features a 5.5-inch display with a resolution of 1,080 x 1,920 pixels. The Samsung Galaxy J7 sports a 5.5-inch display with a resolution of 720 x 1,280 pixels.

The Samsung Galaxy J7 has 2 GB of RAM and a 1.6 GHz octa-core processor. The Samsung device has 16 GB of internal storage that can be expanded to 128 GB with a microSD card slot.

The Moto G4 Plus is available in three models and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 chipset. The device is available in a choice of 4 GB, 3 GB or 2 GB of RAM, depending on the storage capacity of 64 GB, 32 GB, or 16 GB of internal storage spaces.

In addition, the Motorola device offers support of 128 GB of external storage with a microSD card slot.

The Samsung Galaxy J7 has a 3,300 mAh battery that offers 96 hrs of audio playback time, 21 hrs of video playback time and 23 hrs of talk time.

The Moto G4 Plus, on the other hand, has a 3,000 mAh battery. The Samsung Galaxy J7 measures 151.7mm x 76mm x 7.8mm and the Moto G4 Plus measures 153mm x 76.6mm x 9.8mm.

The Samsung device weighs 170 grams and the Moto G4 Plus weighs 155 grams.

The Samsung Galaxy J7 features a 5 MP front-facing camera and a 13 MP rear-facing camera. The smartphone has a rear and front flash.

Both the rear camera and front camera on Samsung device come with f/1.9 aperture. It means that users can take clearer photos even in poor light conditions.

The Motorola smartphone has a 5-megapixel selfie camera and a 16-megapixel primary camera, BGR reported.

The Motorola smartphone has a fingerprint scanner on the home button. Users of Samsung Galaxy J7 will have to use a passcode to unlock their device as the Samsung smartphone does not have fingerprint sensors.

The electronics company Motorola has also announced the Moto G4 and the Moto G4 Play, Digital Trends reported. Some of the features of the Moto G4 include 3,000mAh battery, a 5.5-inch display and a Snapdragon 617 chipset.
