Fans and viewers of the show already seen Kara Danvers/Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) team-up with Barry Allen/The Flash (Grant Gustin) in season 1, not to mention confirming the existence of the multiverse, will pave the way for the Girl of Steel to meet other heroes within show soon.

One of these is the "Arrow" and "Supergirl" crossover as "TMNT 2" star Stephen Amell described it has having "potential" to happen at some point. He added that the crossover will be fitting for "Arrow", pointing out that has been there the longest and the success of the series has paved the way from other DC series.

DC All Access interviewed some of the cast of "Supergirl" regarding the the show's transfer to CW Network, possible plots for season 2 and of course the many crossovers they will have. Cast member Mehcad Brooks stated that he would love to see a crossover of "Arrow" with the series calling it "amazing". He added that his character James Olsen and Supergirl may not be in any rush to get together as a couple, inspite of promising progress at the end of the first season, ComicBook reported.

In other news, the show's main star Melissa Benoist cleared out the rumors of a potential romance between her character and Gustin's character Barry Allen/The Flash.

Benoist told DC All Access that she does not know if Kara and Barry will be together romantically, as she points out that their characters are too similar to each other, and more of pals and only way they can be together is they "pig out" on food, Screenrant reported.

Both Barry and Kara already interacted at one another and fans Kara will meet more heroes from all different DC TV shows very soon.

Several plot details for "Supegirl" season 2 will involve finding Kara's foster father Jeremiah Danvers as it was discovered that he is alive and being held by a mysterious organization called "Cadmus". Showrunner Andrew Kreisberg stated that Cadmus will be an "evil, specter-y thing", but it will definitely be something that they will pursue and the organization has much rich history in the comics and the animated shows. Season 2 will also tease the arrival of Conner Kent/Superboy to the series.

"Supergirl" will return to Monday nights for its season 2 on the CW Network.
