"Game of Thrones" star Natalie Dormer is set to take on one of the key roles in a movie titled "Official Secrets." The movie is scheduled to begin principal photography this year.

Natalie Dormer, who plays Margaery Tyrell in the HBO fantasy TV series "Game of Thrones," is already known for a number of past impressive roles, according to Fans Share. Given her track record in the show business, most especially with the hit HBO show, it is no surprise that she will soon be shooting her role in a new movie called "Official Secrets."

In the new movie, the 34-year old actress will be joining an all-star cast that includes of Anthony Hopkins, Paul Bettany, Martin Freeman, Harrison Ford, and Gillian Anderson.

On the other hand, before appearing in "Game of Thrones," the beautiful actress played the role of Anne Boleyn in Showtime's "Tudors." She also previously appeared in movies such as "Rush," "Captain America: The First Avenger," "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1" and "The Forest"

Meanwhile, Dormer's new movie project "Official Secrets" is a thriller about a British intelligence officer who leaked to the press some critical and destructive information regarding the NSA and the events that led to the 2003 Iraq invasion, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The "Game of Thrones" actress is reportedly set to play the role of whistleblower Katherine Gun, whose arrest broke headlines all over the world. On the other hand, Paul Bettany will play the role of Martin Bright, a reporter at The London Observer to whom Gun leaked classified information. The movie is said to revolve around Bright's efforts to help free Gun but, instead finds both their lives in trouble.

Moreover, Freeman is cast as an editor for "The Observer's" foreign affairs, Hopkins will take the role of a retired U.K. general while Ford takes on the role of a C.I.A. agent.

The upcoming movie is based on the book titled "The Spy Who Tried to Stop a War: Katharine Gun and the Secret Plot to Sanction the Iraq Invasion" that was written by Marcia Mitchell and Thomas Mitchell

At the moment, "Official Secrets" that will be directed by Justin Chadwick from a script by Sara and Gregory Bernstein has no official release date yet but production will begin in May in the United Kingdom.
