The news was shared by the "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" official Twitter account on June 5, Sunday, where it said that it will feature an in-depth display of the shooter's campaign. The time of the gameplay footage has not been confirmed yet.

Important aspects of the campaign, include its air and space combat. It features a linear story, but will allow players to take different pathways in performing their missions via non-linear techniques. Co-op would not be part of the campaign.

In an interview with Ausgamers, "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" Narrative Director Taylor Kurosaki and Design Director Jacob Minkoff explained what would make the gameplay different from the rest of its series.

"We wanted to tell a completely new story with Infinite Warfare. Our story is original and a brand new entry in the Call of Duty series. There is no connection to any previous Call of Duty games, so a new setting obviously and new cast of characters," Kurosaki told the publication.

Kurosaki also revealed that they are coming up with interesting narrative themes that players would love. He mentioned that one of the themes is about leadership where players would learn how it means to be a leader and at the same time, understand that mission should always come first.

The "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" campaign follows the character of Captain Reyes, the pilot of the Retribution. Players would be able to appreciate the background of the campaign that takes place across the solar system, according to the Game Spot.

Activision will offer a remastered version of the gameplay this 2016, which is only accessible by purchasing its premium version. The "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" will be released on Nov. 4 for for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
