The game developers tweeted their announcement of the game's cancellation. They have expressed their thanks for the fans that have come all this way to support the game, and they are sad that it has come to this. They also said that they will be issuing a statement in the next few days.

According to Polygon, the game was supposed to be a first-person survival-horror game that was set in a haunted house. Players would have to stay and survive the horrors in it for five, long days. Last summer, the project was started with a 13 minute prototype of the gameplay, which had a similar gameplay and the look of the cancelled horror game, which was supposed to be published by Konami.

In September, the game developers opened a Kickstarter campaign to fund its development and reward its loyal followers. In less than a month, the campaign was closed due to the reason that they have found a game publisher that would support the game's development, which was Team 17. Since Oct. 2015, there has been no news from them so there is still no information about how far the game development was.

The game developers said in a statement that their cooperation with Team 17 has given them the chance to make their game, in a creative way without distractions. It was also thanks to the game publishers that they gave them the resources, support, and experience of their game development.

According to Gamespot, the game developers' original plan was to release the game on the PC before the end of 2016. They would release it on other computer platforms, like Mac and Linux, on a later date, and also the console ports.
