Inspired by the success of previous installment and Destiny's growing community and avid fans, game developer Bungie and game publisher Activision announced that "Destiny" will be more exciting with new contents for their 30 million registered players to enjoy.

"There's a ton of content packed in Rise of Iron, including a new location, a new raid and a new strike, combined with more quests, weapons, gear, a competitive multiplayer mode and more that we think players are going to love." Express quoted Activision's CEO Eric Hirshberg as saying.

According to reports, the game's update will arrive on September 20. With the said arrival of the DLC pack, it is to be expected that "Rise of Iron" will include new location, new strike, more quests, weapons and a more competitive multiplayer mode that will give gamers more challenges.

Apart from that, reports also included some important facts that each gamer or expecting gamers should remember. To highlight the significant concerns, gamers before update should realize that "Rise of Iron" would only be out for both Xbox One and PS4 and it would require "Taken King" DLC before an update.

Meanwhile, the "Destiny 2," which was previously rumored to be released this year, has encountered a significant change. According to reports, the release date of the installment will be on 2017 instead of 2016, and most probably happening in the autumn season of the next year. The main reason behind the change of schedule is allegedly connected to a reboot, with "Taken King" director Luke Smith taking in charge of the project, according to Kotaku.

Though release dates were speculated and circulated for both "Destiny: Rise of Iron" and "Destiny 2," it would still be good to take this information with a grain of salt to avoid to prevent frustration in the end.
