The latest details for "Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization" will feature two new characters added, new monsters and new game features at the June 27 livestream event.
It seems that more game details for "Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization" will be revealed this month as Bandai Namco announced a special livestream event for the game on June 27. The the video stream will be provided by Japanese channel NicoNico from 8:00pm through 10:00pm JST and it will split intto two parts.
The first part of the livestream will discuss about every new details on the "SAO" anime film, "Sword Art Online: Ordinal Scale" as the movie's producer and various talents will there, including a little teaser at this year's Anime Expo event as they will also make an appearance there as well.
The second part will be focus on the new game mechanics and features of "Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization". Bandai Namco will reveal a new game trailer and theme song for the "SAO" video game for the PlayStation 4 and PS Vita consoles, Siliconera reported.
In other news, "Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization" will feature two returning characters from the "SAO" franchise and introducing some new monsters fort the game.
Bandai Namco announced that Klein and Agil will be joining "Hollow Realization's" roster of characters such as Kirito, Asuna, Leafa, Sinon, Lisbeth,Silica, Strea and Philia. Both characters are former players who got trapped in the game during the "SAO" incident and has helped Kirito througout the game as Agil provides new equipment, gears and infortmation, while Klein assisted him in battles during dungeon level raids.
Aside from Klein and Agil returning to the game, "Sword Art Online" Hollow Realization" will feature new monsters such as The Fate Dominator, Creasted Beast, Shadow Demon and the Skeleton, Gematsu reported.
"Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization" will take place in a new VMMORPG called "Sword Art: Origin" and it is said to be a mixture of the original "SAO" game and "ALfheim Online". Gamers will be at the new region of Ainground as it highlights the town of Beginnings were most of the players hangout, explore and but weapons and equipment.
Like the original "SAO" game, players are given new sword skills and are able to perform "Switch" during battles. There will be a four player party and gamers can customize their own avatar in the game.
Bandai Namco will launch "Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization" on Oct. 27 for the PS4 and PS Vita in Japan as the limited edition of the game features a box art illustrated by abec, a soundtrack CD, special contents Blu-ray disc, extra package for the Blu-ray and CD, "Dengeki Nerve Gear vol.4" pamphlet, and mini clear posters. The western version will be out sometime in the fall 2016.
