According to Brewer, young girls and women will be inspired to see her and it is a true inspiration to be a role model and to encourage them in being who they are and showing who they are. She has been working as an advocate for people with intellectual disabilities.

Brewer is also part of the project called "Role Models Not Runway Models" that Hammer has started when asked to show her line for NYFW in 2014. Hammer said that she called up her clients who are mostly women and she noted that her statements before with her design has turned out much more than it was initially designed for.

Hammer also shared that the co-founder of the nonprofit organization called Changing the Face of Beauty is one of the people who pushed for Brewer to walk the runway tomorrow. She noted that Katie Driscoll, the co-founder, has been encouraging media to include people with disabilities to be part of events.

In a statement regarding suggesting Brewer as her runway modelDriscoll said, "I explained to her how important it is for my daughter to have role models like [Brewer] to see that [anything] is possible".

Driscoll's daughter Grace also suffers from Down Syndrome.

According to E! News, Hammer will be creating the runway look of Brewer from her character in "American Horror Story." Hammer shares that Brewer's outfit will be black and that it will be A-line as she has a beautiful body and a tiny waist.
