New details for "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" will have two new characters in latest gameplay trailer and Bandai Namco discussing the gameplay features in the sequel.

Bandai Namco showcased a new gameplay trailer for "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" in this year's Electrinic Entertainment Expo this week, featuring two new characters from the anime franchise, Future Gohan and the Saiyan villain Turles engaging in an intense combat and showcasing their special moves, AnimeNewsNetwork reported.

Turles made his debut in the anime OVA "Dragon Ball Z: The Tree of Might as former member of Frieza's army, but left to pursue his own ambitions to conquer planets and possibly the universe with own group the "Turles Crusher Corps. Turles physical appearance resembles that of Son Goku, but he has a ruthless and uncaring personality normally displayed by Saiyans.

Future Gohan is the mentor of Future Trunks in an alternate future timeline were in Android 17 and Android 18 eradicated most of humanity and the Z warriors. This version of Gohan is far more serious and aggressive, he trained Trunks to become stronger and achieving Super Saiyan level. He was killed during a fight between the twin Androids and as result Trunks became a Super Saiyan out of anguish and grief for his fallen mentor and closest friend.

In other news, Bandai Namco explained the new game mechanics that will be featured in "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" such as a new customization items, access to certain areas that several races in the game can enter and race specific rewards.

The new Hub city will be seven times bigger than the previous game, supporting over 300 players and everyone can fly to certain areas in the city. The is also a new transportation system introduced in the sequel for fast travel.

"Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" will run at 60 FPS, which doubles what the first game has and it will feature a dynamic camera which will have a better track movements during fights. Combat changes in the sequel will have Ki blast curving through the air as players fly towards their opponent. There will be new dash moves called "Homing Dash" that allows them to quickly move towards opponents and "Aura Burst Dash" that dodges opponents Ki blasts.

Lastly, Bandai Namco will have plans for a post-launch support for "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" although they did not made any specific details about it and will likely reveal it very soon, Gamespot reported.

In addition, the game's producer Masayuki Hirano announced that more game details for "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" will be revealed at the Japan Expo 2016 in Paris, France on July 7-10.

"Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" will be release sometime this year for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and for the PC.
