Several rumors are floating around that suggest a new release from the house of Microsoft. The hint is at the newest Surface Pro 5, which is expected to release in 2017 with next-gen Intel's processor technology.


While Surface Pro fans will have to wait a little longer for the tablet to release, fresh rumors point out that the company's decision to roll out the Pro 5 with Windows 10 Redstone 2, is another reason for the delay of the launch. This is because Redstone 2 release is pushed to Spring 2017, according to ZDnet

As revealed by one of the latest reports, the Surface Pro 5 will come equipped with a special kind of glass display protector. Other than this, the device will supposedly pack in an IPS Corning Gorilla glass protection for its display, having 2,736x1,825 pixels resolution. 

If rumors turn out true, the device is likely to feature AMD Polaris GPUs or Nvidia Pascal that helps to boost the performance of games. The primary camera is said to have 16MP power, while the secondary camera is expected to be an 8MP selfie snapper.

In addition, the device will reportedly come with a powerful battery that will ensure efficient power management. As for the RAM capacity, it could be as high as 16GB. The highlighting part is that the device will boasts a lighter and slimmer profile that will enhance its looks.

It will have an optional keyboard, which means users can attach it to the device if they want. The keyboard will, however, come packed with the device in the same box. There are more reports that the Pro 5 will feature a 4K display screen.

Meanwhile, as per the latest news regarding the Pro 5, it will probably bear a few similarities with the Asus Transformer 3 Pro with regards to features. Now that just a few months have passed since the release of the Surface Pro 4, technology enthusiasts are already expecting the fifth generation of Surface deviceive soon.

Going by the price details, the Surface Pro 5 is expected to come at a price tag as the Surface Pro 4. While the base price of the tablet will supposedly come at a price of $750, the figure can shoot up, ranging between $1,200 and $1,400, CNET has learned.
