"Watch Dogs 2", like other open world games, is all about options. What will make this game different, though, is that it can be completed without killing anybody.

Open world games offer gamers the freedom to overcome challenges in vast environments in many ways. Yet even with wide flexibility and freedom, these games typically boil down to violence. Players still need to kill enemies for the rest of the game.

Things will become different on Ubisoft's "Watch Dogs 2." According to Attack of the Fanboy, the developer has recently announced that the game can be completed without having to kill anybody.

Many skeptics might find this impossible, especially those who are used to firing big guns at every opponent all the way to the finish line. For this upcoming Ubisoft game, though, a player will have the option to develop abilities, such as tinkering drones, that will in turn allow the player to complete missions with the use of a remote control.

That is just an example. The developer has provided the game with even more extreme options.

During an interview with PlayStation Blog at E3, Game Director Danny Belanger explained that unlike the first "Watch Dogs" that focused on surveillance, "Watch Dogs 2" will center on "Big Data" that includes anything from social media, search engines and etc. This gives the hacker more interesting situations to deal with in the game.

It seems that the possibilities are sky high for game protagonist DedSec hacktivist Marcus Holloway as he has a 3D printer as part of his arsenal of gadgets. With a 3D printer, Holloway can craft anything including firearms and drones. Basically, Holloway has a wider scope to hack.

"The player has the freedom to play the way they want," Belanger said. "We're using three playstyles to talk about the game."

Belanger explained that for those who prefer violence, they can choose to play the combat hacker who can use hacks to off people.

The other two play styles are ghost hacker and trickster hacker. The former can use "hacks to distract and make noises" while the latter does not have to be physically present in the mission in order to complete it. That is why the game offers options that focus on developing skills so there are more ways than one to finish the game.

At the moment, those developments may still be a lot to take in. However, players can finally get a grip on the new "Watch Dogs 2" when it is already released on Nov. 15.
