Halo 5 will also be getting a Score Attack game mode that would allow players to compete or cooperate with their friends to rack up some high scores hence the name, Polygon has learned. They will also feature three new maps and a new blank canvas template for the Halo Forge map editor.

343 wanted to make the objective of the players clear to make the gameplay less confusing. They have included a new splash feed containing the objectives of the players which will show up at the start of each Warzone Firefight round.

The scoreboard on the players' screen also show different colors depending on the team's current goals. It will show a red bar if they need to eliminate and it will show a blue bar if they need to defend.

343 also said that the Halo 5 Warzone FireFight expansion game mode will show the player's personal score report at the end of each round, GameSpot reported. There are also minor changes to the UI which involves the navpoint updates and event feed notifications.

Players will also get to play around six maps with one new. Beta players only had the chance to play one map.

The maps include Escape from A.R.C., Urban, Skirmish at Darkstar, March on Stormbreak, Raid on Apex 7 and the new Attack on Sanctum. It is unconfirmed whether new more maps will be added in the future.

Halo 5: Guardians will be completely free for the Xbox One players starting on June 29 when the Warzone Firefight expansion will also be released. The expansion follows the previous How Wild, Ghosts of Meridian, Hammer Storm, Memories of Reach, Cartographer's Gift, Infinity's Armor and The Battle of Shadow and Light in November last year.
