Tipster Evan Blass aka evleaks has recently leaked the logo revealing that the device is Samsung Note 7. This suggests that the next Samsung phablet will be named Note 7 and it is likely to feature an iris scanner.
As far as prediction about Samsung products are concerned, Blass has been very reliable and consistent. Last year, the tipster's leak on the specs and image of Samsung Note 5 proved to be accurate to the point. However, this time, Blass did not reveal any detail regarding the upcoming Samsung device, but simply posted the logo of the purported Note 7 in his Twitter post.

In the recent weeks, several rumors flooded the Internet suggesting that the South Korean tech giant may skip Note 6 and instead launch a Note 7 with a view to bring some sense of equivalence to branding as well as marketing of the company Galaxy range of devices. According to industry watchers, the name change is an effort to sync the Note with Samsung's flagship Galaxy S7 phones, HNGN reported.
While Samsung is yet to confirm anything regarding its upcoming phablet, industry watchers have reportedly discovered a user profile page listing on the company's official website for what they guess could be Galaxy Note 6/7, which has been code named SM-N930F. The listing does not mention anything regarding the specifications or launch date of the purported device, but there are rumors that Samsung may possibly unveil the device August 2.
As far as the rumored specs of the purported Note 7 are concerned, the device is likely to have a curved Edge 5.8-inch QHD display, Gizmo China reported. The upcoming Note may be a substitute for the Edge Plus device, which Samsung refrained from launching along with the Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge earlier this year.
Some reports suggested that the purported Note 7 may use the screen found on the Galaxy S7. In addition, following the trend set by flagships like LeMax 2 and Vivo Xplay 5, Samsung is likely to incorporate a 6GB RAM into the upcoming device. As is expected that Samsung's DRAM production line will support the device, there is unlikely to be any production hitches.
Recent leaks also suggest that the purported Note 7 will come with 256GB internal memory, but it is not certain whether the device will l support extendable memory. Since the device is expected to be powered by a 4200 mAH battery unit, it is unlikely to suffer from problems related to battery life. The device will also incorporate the award-winning IP68 waterproof and dustproof technology of Galaxy S7.
