The latest details and possible spoilers for "Dragon Ball Super" will feature new episode schedules, titles, ending theme song and theories on what role will Zamasu play in the "Future Trunks" arc.
It was during the latest issue of V-Jump magazine that another new God character will join the cast of "Dragon Ball Super" during the shows new storyline, "The Future Trunks" arc named God King Zamasu. Several fans speculated that Zamasu has some sort of connection with Black/Black Goku and it is unknown whether he is an ally or the one pulling Black's strings in destroying Trunks' future timeline.
Three theories were presented regarding Zamasu's possible role in "Dragon Ball Super" as YouTube username UnrealEntGaming theorized that Zamasu in the anime series has a more higher authority than that of the Gods of Destruction, Beerus and Champa and the Supreme Kais as his title of "God King" says it all. However, it is unknown where he ranks in power as he could beneath or above the Omni King Zeno.
The second theory about Zamasu came from a report from YouTube channel Anime Reaction Live as they pointed out that Zamasu and Black are somehow related to each other due to similar outfits and lean body types. There is also a different clothing for Zamasu as the issue suggest that it could be used for a flashback scene in one of the episodes of "Dragon Ball Super". Anime Reaction Live added that there is a chance that Zamasu became evil at some point and fused with Son Goku from an alternate timeline.
The last theory revealed is that Zamasu could be from another universe and he is not a resident of Universe 7. There are 12 universes in the "Dragon Ball Super" anime which each having an alternate reality versions of past or present characters and races, so it could be possible that Zamasu is a god from another universe, Design&Trend reported.
In other news, the official "Dragon Ball Super" Twitter page tweeted a new ending theme for the anime series soon.
The new ending theme is called "Yoka Yoka Extract Dance" is being performed by Japanese girl group Batten Show Jo Tai. However, the new theme will not air until July 31 and will likely feature new animation in relation to the "Future Trunks" arc, Attack of the Fanboy reported.
In addition, new episode schedules have been announced as episode 50 titled "Goku vs. Black" will feature the clash between Son Goku and Black and it will air on this week. Episode 51 will be called "Missing Mai Across Time" as it sees Future Trunks dealing with the loss of Future Mai and it will air on July 10.
Episode 52 titled "Gohan and Future Trunks" will feature a faithful meeting between the two, putting Gohan on the spotlight and it will air on July 17.
Lastly, episode 53 titled "Black's Identity Revealed" will discover the origin and identity of Black Goku and it will air on July 31.
"Dragon Ball Super" returns next week on Fuji TV.
