These led to several fan speculations as to what kind of changes will the new Green Arrow suite would look like, either it could be cosmetic alteration, or will it feature some sort of additional functionality. Some would say that Oliver's new costume might be based on the new Green Arrow DC Rebirth storyline, Screenrant reported.

The Green Arrow costume in DC Rebirth features a lighter shade of Green, while the gauntlets and abdomen region are colored light brown contrasting the green and gives it a more Robin Hood-like than a jungle effect. In addition, Oliver now sports a goatee in DC Rebirth, so what are the chances that Amell will grow a goatee and beard in "Arrow" season 5 given that TV viewers already saw future Oliver sporting that look in "Legends of Tomorrow".

In other news, new character have been added to "Arrow" season 5 as "The McCarthys" star Tyler Ritter and "Elysium" actress Carly Pope will be playing as Detective Malone and journalist Susan Williams.

Detective Malone (Ritter) will be major recurring character in season 5 and will fill out the void where former SCPD Captain Quentin Lance left, but just because he left the police does not mean Lance will not be playing a bigger role in the show.

Susan Williams (Pope) on the other hand, will be a journalist from Coast City and fans were quickly to react as character has something to do with Hal Jordan/Green Lantern since he is from the same city.

Lastly, Echo Kellum's character Curtis Holt/Mr. Terrific is teased to the show's version of "The Flash" character Cisco Ramon (Carlos Valdes). Executive Producer Wendy Mericle stated that Curtis will be in-charge of making new technology and gear for Team Arrow separating him from Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards) who is the team's resident hacker. Mericle added that they will try there best to differentiate Curtis from Cisco as she wants him to be more hands on and a little bit more about physical tech, ScreenCrush reported.

"Arrow" will return on Oct. 5 on the CW Network.
