Roman Reigns was suspended by the WWE for 30 days on June 21 for his first violation of the company's Wellness Policy. According to the latest rumors, Reigns will remain in the main event of Battleground but he is not expected to come out as four-time WWE champion.

Many fans were surprised that Reigns lost cleanly to Seth Rollins at Money in the Bank as he has been booked to kick out at everything for the past several months. Ambrose went on to cash-in on Rollins and become the WWE champion later that night.

The announcement of the suspension made it clear that the WWE is serious about their stance on substance abuse among its talents. The involvement of Reigns is a big hit considering he was the WWE champion when he was busted.

Nonetheless, the WWE knew about the violation but they still went on to book Reigns for the Battleground main event against Ambrose and Rollins. Many people were unsure about his status but it is obvious that top WWE officials still has belief in him.

According to Cageside Seats, haters of Reigns can rejoice because he is not expected to win back the WWE championship at Battleground. The WWE will likely stick to Ambrose for the meantime or even give it back to Rollins.

On the other hand, Reigns need to start repairing his image after his lapse in judgment. The WWE allowed Rollins to cut a promo that felt like a shoot about Reigns' suspension. It may have been a way to teach him a lesson.

The 31-year-old superstar was also ordered to apologize to everyone in the WWE locker room after his suspension was announced, The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported via Wrestle Zone. It was reportedly handed out by Mark Carrano that came from Triple H and not WWE chairman Vince McMahon.

The locker room apology received mixed reactions as some think that it was unnecessary. However, other wrestlers think that it was appropriate for Reigns to apologize to them. The three-time WWE champion is also set to lose about $100,000 due to his suspension but he will still get his share of merchandise and royalty checks.
