The Los Angeles Clippers are reportedly going to try pitching the prospect of a Big 4 when they meet Kevin Durant this coming weekend. According to Ramona Shelburne and Arash Markazi of ESPN, the Clips are expected to bring in DeAndre Jordan, Blake Griffin and Chris Paul at the meeting.

The Clippers are one of six teams given the opportunity to meet Durant. Shelburne stated the Clippers are planning to be in full force in their only meeting with the All-Star small forward, as they already sent invitation to their Big 3.

Multiple reports indicated that the Clippers are determined to form their own version of Fab 4 with Griffin, Jordan, Paul and possibly Durant forming the core of the team. However, the Clippers need to eliminate all existing contracts in order to create room for Durant.

"The Los Angeles Clippers are inviting Blake Griffin, DeAndre Jordan and Chris Paul to their meeting with Kevin Durant. The Clippers hope to pitch Durant on forming a Big 4," according to Shelburne.

Then again, there's also the possibility of the Clippers trading away one of their current Big 3 members. Many NBA analysts believe the Thunder would be open to hammer a sign-and-trade deal, should Durant decide to leave as long as they can get Griffin, who played college ball at Oklahoma.

"Los Angeles would need to eliminate most of the rest of their team to sign Durant to even a below max deal while keeping Griffin, Jordan and Paul. There had been speculation that the Clippers would trade away Griffin to create space for Durant should he want to sign with the team," via Real GM.

Durant, who averaged 28.2 points, 8.2 rebounds and 5.0 assists per game last season, is also scheduled to meet the OKC Thunder, Boston Celtics, New York Knicks, Miami Heat and the Golden State Warriors.
