Christina Aguilera's relationship status and sexual orientation have been a major topic of discussion lately after she kissed a female contestant on the lips in the TV show ''The Voice''. Now, it is established that she is bisexual and is comfortable with her sexuality.

Her past relationship with Samantha Ronson was talked about in details and her infamous kiss on stage during the VMA performances in 2003 were dug out. However, even though she is bisexual, and she has confessed it herself, the speculations are on about her present relationship status.

The ''Back to Basics'' star Aguilera got engaged to Jordan Bratman in 2005 and married him on Nov. 19, 2005 in Napa County, California. According to People, this much hyped wedding which took place in in northern California's Napa Valley and Aguilera wore a Christian Lacroix gown for the occasion.

Before the wedding, while talking about the wedding plans, Meghan Prophet, Aguilera's agent clarified to BBC about the wedding plans. "No wedding plans have been set yet," said  Prophet.

Bratman had presented his would be bride with a diamond ring designed by jeweller Stephen Webster. Prophet also talked about the singer's her career highlights and how things progressed in her relationship.

Around two million dollars were spent for the wedding. ''Just days after confirming that she had separated on Sept. 11 from her husband Jordan Bratman, Christina Aguilera has filed for divorce'' a source close to the singer confirmed to the magazine.

She had separated from her husband in September and then filed for divorce from Bratman in Oct. 2010. She requested for a joint legal and physical custody of their son Max. Apparently "irreconcilable differences" was the reason behind the divorce.

Now since it is established that the singer was married and has a son too, hence she can not be labelled as lesbian. The readers of Yibada know that now she is with her partner Matthew Rutler and the couple has a daughter too.
