"Game of Thrones" actress Carice Van Houten seems to be an expert on Twitter. The actress recently won the social media when she posted a seemingly wrong but hilarious tweet.

The picture along with the tweet shows Van Houten as Melisandre along with Kerry Ingram with her Shireen Baratheon makeup still on. Viewers of the show remember that Melisandre burned Shireen at the stake as a sacrifice to the Lord of Light in Season 5.

Shireen's death was one of the most shocking moments of season 5, and it had ramifications in season 6, particularly with Davos Seaworth (Liam Cunningham), who was quite close to the girl. Melisandre kept her role in Shireen's death a secret from Jon Snow (Kit Harington) and Davos until the end of the season. Instead of executing her, Jon banished her from the North and told her that she would be hanged if she ever return.

While the actress' hilarious tweet went viral, the image has become popular among Reddit users as well when one of the user probably thought it would be funny to submit the image of Van Houten and Ingram to the subreddit /r/PhotoshopBattles where users could edit the photo to their heart's content. One of the photoshoped images even caught the actress' attention who in turn retweeted to her nearly 70,000 followers.

This is not the first time that Van Houten has showed her funny side on Twitter. Earlier, after her character brought Jon Snow back to life in the hit HBO show, the actress famously sent a tweet, "Happy now?," along with a winking emoji with its tongue out.

Meanwhile, Van Houten is seemingly doing well in her pregnancy. The actress recently shared a make-up free pic on Twitter, showing off her flawless pregnant glow.

Back in May, the 39-year-old was spotted in Amsterdam along with "Spy" actor Jude Law and some other fellow actors, Daily Mail reported. She looked radiant in a billowing white gown with a loose hemline to accommodate her baby bump.

"Game of Thrones" Season 6 ended on June 26. Although Jon Snow ordered to head South, it is highly expected that the show is not done with Melisandre and she will be seen again in Season 7. Watch the last scene below:
