Keri Russell reveals Keri Russell, the new mother in the block, has revealed the name of her son. The actress and her partner, Matthew Rhys has named their baby, Sam.
Russell was present on the "Today's Show" on Friday where she confirmed giving birth to her son, mid-May. She was present to promote her new movie, "Free State of Jones", Kepr TV reported.
The couple welcomed their first child in May but remained silent about the gender and name of the baby. It is the first baby of Rhys. The Golden Globe-winning actress told the host, Matt Lauer, that the baby is so good, fat and nice.
Russell has not mentioned why the name of the baby and the gender was not disclosed earlier. However, she did not forget to share the details that a mother enjoys, Today Parents reported.
Russell and Rhys are dating since 2013 when they met on the set of The American. Russell has two children, River, 9, and Willa, 4 with ex-husband, Shane Deary.
While asked in an interview back in 2014, the 40 years old beauty did not admit the romantic relationship with Rhys but they were seen together on many occasions.
She mentioned that it was really good to work with such a person who does all the hard work. She felt she was in safe hands and mentioned that she loved working with him. The direct questions were avoided, though.
Russell was talking about her new movie, "Free State of Jones" on the show. According to her, it is an epic history movie which is based on a true story. McConaughey is playing the central character of Confederate deserter Newton Knight and he according to Russell is very good.

Keri Russell just not shared her good news about her baby but she also shared the news of her being named among Hollywood Walk of Fame next year.
Russell and Rhys will be seen together once again in Season 5 of "The Americans" in 2017. The season five will be on FX.
