New details for "One Punch Man" season 2 will feature a possible 2017 release date, more than 12 episodes and the season 1 English dub to air on July 16.

It was during the Anime Expo 2016 event that announcement the English dub for season 1 of "One Punch Man" will be released this month as the official Twitter page Viz Media tweeted that the anime will air on July 16 on Toonami.

Viz Media added that the English dub cast will include Max Mittleman as the series protagonist Saitama, Zach Aguilar as the cyborg hero Genos, Robbie Daymond as C-Class Hero Mumen Rider and Erik Kimerer as the ninja warrior/mercenary Speed 'o'Sound Sonic, AnimeNewsNetwork reported.

While anime fans are excited to see "One Punch Man" season 1 on Toonami, others could not help to wonder if Madhouse would ever announce new details regarding the status of "One Punch Man" season 2.

So far, there have been numerous rumors and speculation regarding the development of "One Punch Man" season 2 as previous reports stated that Saitama will not just face one main villain, but three such as Garou, Lord Boros and Amai Mask.

Garou will be featured in the "Hero Hunt" arc which was teased as the main storyline for season 2, while rumors of Lord Boros' return has spread throughout the internet and Amai Mask could likely discover the secret behind Saitama's powers.

Manga creator Yusuke Murata confirmed that they are at the first phase of the production and will likely meet the demands of anime fans of launching the show sometime this year or in the early months of 2017. Murata added that they are already updating the source materials for the anime, but there has yet to be any details regarding what storyline will it be based on.

Other reports claim that that Murata and his team have been working very intensely in making "One Punch Man" season 2 happened as he is working several sketches, inked pages and storyboards for almost 10 hours everyday. It will likely take him and his team to finish the working the anime in haft a year leading to a October 2016 release

In addition, season 2 of "One Punch Man" will likely have more 12 episodes due to the manga series having nine volumes and it looks like the series will not end so soon. Madhouse could have more materials they can use for the next seasons of the anime show, When-Will reported.

Anime fans will just have to wait for more information on "One Punch Man" season 2 very soon.
