Seems like Hayley (played by Phoebe Tonkin) will not be a lone wolf anymore, as she is set to meet a partner in crime along the way in "The Originals" Season 4.
According to the show's executive producer Michael Narducci, "The Originals" Season 3's finale showed Hayley as a definitive part of the Mikaelson family, although she refuses to be a member of it.
In "The Originals" Season 3, the Mikaelsons found themselves in big trouble. Marcel (played by Charles Michael Davis) sought vengeance for Davina's (played by Danielle Campbell) death through putting Klaus (played by Joseph Morgan) on trial, and ultimately sentencing him to be in slumber forever.
The lives of Rebekah (played by Claire Holt), Freya (played by Riley Voelkel), Elijah (played by Daniel Gillies) and Kol (played by Nathaniel Buzoli) in "The Originals" Season 3 were put in great danger, and now, Hayley needs to safeguard their bodies while trying to find a cure for their slumber. According to Ecumenical News, Narducci continued that, "By the definition of what a family is, Hayley is definitely part of the [Mikaelson] family."
In addition, Narducci believes that Klaus will not be the same when he wakes up from his vampire coma - that is, if he wakes up - in "The Originals" Season 4, Christian Times reported. Narducci teased that Klaus will "be suffering unendurable agony for who knows how long," and fans should watch out if his selflessness will make him a monster.
In one scene of last season's finale, Hayley was driving the caravan in which the Mikaelson's bodies laid. She drove the caravan safely out of New Orleans but must be wary of Marcel, because if he finds out that the Original family is still alive, he will definitely do everything to find them and kill them for good.
Meanwhile, "The Originals" Season 4 will see Hayley meeting werewolf named Keelin, a "smart, strong, resourceful ER doctor" and the only one alive from her werewolf bloodline. Keelin found herself in isolation due to the death of her family. She is constantly afraid that she too will be killed, just like her beloved family members. As she encounters Hayley and the Originals in "The Originals" Season 4, it will be interesting to find out if she will finally come out of her shell and find an alliance with Hayley.
"The Originals" Season 4 airs back on CW midway through 2017.
