Sapphire may have given out that they will be rolling out custom AIB cards of the upcoming AMD Radeon RX 460 and RX 470 Polaris cards through their own support website.
AMD has recently showed the bare PCB of the Radeon RX 470 and the RX 460 during the recent PC Gaming Show. The lack of the reference designs could mean that they will be focusing more on the partner cards with custom coolers and such.
The custom RX 480 cards are just starting to surface and it could take up to next week before they can be rolled out. XFX, Powercolor and Sapphire are some of the OEMs that will be making custom cards with factory overclocked Polaris 10 GPUs.
Reddit user CBwardog was just trying to file a support ticket to Sapphire but he found out that there were new choices for the AMD RX series cards which included the RX 460 and the RX 470, Digital Trends has learned. There are three RX 460 cards in the list with 2GB and 4GB variants that are factory overclocked and one 4GB version that could be the base model.
The Sapphire list also shows that there will be AMD Radeon RX 470 cards with 4GB and 8GB variants. One caveat is that the list showed that the RX 470 4GB model does not have the Dual-Link DVI port.
There is also an interesting entry below the list which is the Radeon 490 but searching for the product SKU just shows the AMD RX 480 8GB version by Sapphire, PCPer reported. The fact that the product listings were spotted in an official Sapphire support site means that they do exist and can be revealed soon.
Sapphire will also be making a Nitro+ Radeon RX 480 in both 4GB and 8GB variants which will be factory overclocked plus with Dual HDMI ports. VR users will be able to make use of the additional HDMI port with their HTC Vive or Oculus Rift headset.
AMD has not revealed any details about the RX 490 yet but the earlier leak confirms that it does exist. The Sapphire product listings also confirms that they will be making Nitro variants of the RX 470, RX 460 and the recently released RX 480.
