"Game of Thrones" cast member John Bradley has recently shared a theory that may have explained the appearance of the gyroscopes and Sam Tarly's connection with the said device. The actor's theory may also affect the way that viewers may appreciate the show's upcoming Season 7.

Avid viewers may have noticed the gyroscope that was featured in the opening credits of the show. A similar looking device has also been spotted at the Citadel during Bradley's character Sam's visit to the library in Season 6. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the actor was asked whether the gyroscope may potentially impact Sam's story in the upcoming "Game of Thrones" season 7. In response, he shared a theory that the events that fans have witnessed throughout the HBO series may potentially come from one of the books in the library.

Bradley mentioned that the gyroscope's appearance in the Citadel may mean that Sam may be the one recounting the story of the Starks, the Lannisters and other characters in their quest to claim the Iron Throne. He explained that the way that the gyroscopes were presented in the opening credits and in the Citadel may indicate that the viewers are being a told a story from a book. It also hints that the gyroscope could be showing a path where people will gain knowledge about a story, in the same way that Sam will get to learn in the library.

The actor also made mention of how showrunners David Benioff and Dan Weiss' had the foresight to link the device from the opening sequence to an actual scene in the HBO series. Bradley even described the two gentlemen as incredible and brave showrunners who are not hesitant to provide hints and nuggets of information that could puzzle avid fans. At this time, it is still unclear whether the said theory is true. 

In other news, the Season 6 finale of "Game of Thrones" has finally revealed the true origin of Kit Harington's character Jon Snow. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Sophie Turner, who plays Sansa Stark, commented that the truth may lead to the two characters growing closer to each other. 

The actress stated that it may even heal Jon and Sansa's relationship. She explained that Sansa finally discovering that her father remained loyal and true to her mother Catelyn will help her character see Jon in a more positive light. Turner even hinted of new bridges being formed due to Jon's true birth parents.

Fans would have to look forward to upcoming seasons to learn more about beloved characters. "Game of Thrones" Season 7 is expected to premiere in 2017.
