Indian app developer Shuban Chembukar recently revealed in a Twitter post that Microsoft is currently developing numerous Surface devices. Chembukar spotted some hints when he visited the tech-giant's building 88, The Verge reported.

During his visit, the developer was able to spot a wall dedicated for its Surface devices which included the Surface Pro 4, Surface Book, Surface Pen and updated cover. A provision was also seen for an upcoming Surface device with a caption of "coming soon."

Although it was obvious that the placeholder is for a Surface device, it is still unidentified if it will be a phone, another laptop or tablet in the making. Chembukar's photos also suggest that three more devices will be launched by next year.

For the Surface Book 2, recent rumors suggest that it will be an all-in-one PC and will be launched by third quarter of 2016, DigiTimes reported. According to the report, the upcoming AIO PC will be an alternative to the second-generation of Surface Book.

The report added it is expected that the launching of the said AIO PC will have an impact in the AIO market which has been declining as the demand for PC products decrease. Currently, Apple and Lenovo are currently the top two AIO PC manufacturers around the world.

Worldwide shipments of AIO PCs are expected to drop to 12.6 million units in 2016, from 14 million shipments from 2015. More details are expected to be revealed in the coming months. Confirmation of a release date of a Surface phone and a Surface Book 2 is also expected to be revealed soon.

Meanwhile, viewers are advised to take all of the information stated with a grain of salt as more details will be unveiled which may change specifics stated here. For more information on the upcoming Surface devices, watch the video below.
