Apple Inc. has long refuted its founder Steve Job's statement that "no one" would buy a phone with a big screen. After the huge success of 5.5-inch iPhone 6 Plus, the Cupertino-based tech giant is up for a two-in-one phablets, iPhone 7 Plus and iPhone 7 Pro, which will be released on September.

If hot rumors will be proven true, mobile enthusiasts and Apple's loyal fans will probably be up for a treat, as the technology firm unveils its two new big-screen devices that is packed with some epic specs, Phone Arena reported.

While Tim Cook and his gang has remained mum about the diverse rumors regarding iPhone 7 Plus and iPhone 7 Pro, enthusiasts and analysts have already collated evidence-backed arsenal of the upcoming new Apple phablets. Conflicting rumors make it not so clear if there will really be two phablets, or just one, but still, here are the rumored details about these two.

Both the iPhone 7 Plus and iPhone 7 Pro will measure 5.5-inch, but their main difference is the camera as iPhone 7 Pro will be sporting a dual camera. While no major overhaul is expected as it is known as an Apple tradition already, both phablets are expected to be like iPhone 6S Plus.

Minor changes are expected and these include "tweaking of the antenna bands." The two phablets will also be clothed by the strongest phone body which is 7000 aluminum alloy. iPhone 7 Plus and iPhone 7 Pro will also have a Smart Connector, like the large iPad Pro, according to a 3D artist named Martin Hajek.

Another big rumor is that Apple will finally equip its new phablets with waterproof body. It can be noted that some tough competitors of Apple has been using this feature many years ago. To further make the iPhone 7 Plus and iPhone 7 Pro thinner, the upcoming new phablets will reportedly ditch the 3.5mm audio jack and will have a proprietary Lightning one.

Apple fans may also be up for a darker line, as the upcoming devices will reportedly have a Space Gray and even a dark blue variant. The new shades will join in with the known Apple Colors such as Gold, Rose Gold and Silver.

In terms of hardware, iPhone 7 Plus and iPhone 7 Pro will share the same 16nm Apple A10 chipset, but Pro will have a bigger RAM, 3GB, compared to Plus' 2GB, as expected by an industry insider Ming-Chi Kuo. It is also expected that both phablets will have 32GB, 128GB and 256GB options.

While there is still no confirmation, analyst believed that a successor of A9 will be launched alongside the new devices. The new chipset, predicted to be named as A10, will have a "fan-out" chip packaging that will allow the devices to be thinner.

In terms of power juicers, iPhone 7 Plus and iPhone 7 Pro will reportedly have a 3,100mAh battery, which is better compared to iPhone 6 Plus' 2,750 mAh battery capacity. With the display area, Apple may not be giving a major upgrade for iPhone 7 Plus and iPhone 7 Pro, as both will measure 5.5 inches with 1080p screens and 401ppi pixel density.

Since 3D Touch is an Apple trademark, the Cupertino-based tech giant may be launching a multi-3D Touch functionality to iPhone 7 Plus and iPhone 7 Pro, which will give users the freedom to press several points of the screen.

In the camera department, iPhone 7 Plus will have the same shooter as its predecessor, a 12MP rear camera with 1.22µ pixels, dual true-tone LED flash, a 5-element lens with an aperture of f/2.2, autofocus with Focus Pixels, a hybrid IR filter, BSI, and a sapphire crystal lens cover.

iPhone 7 Pro, however, will reportedly be a photographer's delight, with its dual rear camera. This back dual-lens can deliver a DSLR-quality images and are also equipped with lossless optical zoom feature.

Excited Apple fans can expect a September launching for the two epic phablets, as it has been a company's tradition. iPhone 7 Plus and iPhone 7 Pro price tags are not revealed yet, but more likely, the range will be as close as last year's batch of new phones.
