Anticipation of some fans have been satisfied in episode 50 as Goku and Black Goku came face to face for the first time. The meeting came to a battle between the two fighters, with Goku being defeated by the new nemesis.

Despite Goku being overthrown the Saiayan warrior did not give his alter ego an easy fight as he was able to injure Black Goku as well, with the latter leaving through a time portal. Before the villain left, he was also able to destroy the time machine Future Trunks uses when the latter unknowingly blurted out "Time Machine" as the equipment tipped over.

While many are still clueless about the identity of the powerful villain, speculations are pointing out that Black Goku may be another character that is just residing at dead Goku's body. It seemed there is something about Black Goku as he told Goku during their face off that it was an honor for him to fight inside the Saiayan's body, Attack of the Fan Boy reported.

The report added that Black Goku's statement may be an indication that he came from a future timeline where Goku and Vegeta are already dead. With these speculations, it is expected that aside from Trunks and Mai's story, episode 51 will be revealing the real identity of Black Goku as well, and how he was able to get hold of Goku's body.

The episode preview was already released, and according to a post at Kazenshuu, the preview stated, "Hey, this is Goku! What's wrong, Trunks? Huh?! In the future you fought alongside the adult version of that kid?! And there's a whole bunch of other people opposing Black?! Then we'd better hurry up and go take Black down!"

"Dragon Ball Super" episode 51 is entitled, "Feelings that Transcend Time: Trunks and Mai" and will air on July 10 at Fuji TV. Watch the video clip below for a preview of the upcoming episode.
