The Sony Xperia X was released in February and it instantly stole the spotlight with its extraordinary features. Let us compare the phone with one of the coveted Nexus devices, the Huawei Nexus 6P that not just looks beautiful but has great features as well. Both Huawei and Sony fans may have their difference of opinions, but the following comparison will help them decide which device is the best.

Design and Display

This time, Sony has come out with an all metal body for the Xperia X that is crafted with an infallible rear side along with curvy edges made out of glass. Measuring 5-inches in size, the display is an IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen that offers 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution.

Boasting a full metal unibody, the Huawei Nexus 6P is made out of aeronautical-grade anodized aluminum. The screen measures 5.7-inches and is an AMOLED capacitive touchscreen that offers a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels.

With oleophobic coating and scratch-resistant glass designed on the Sony Xperia X, the display of the device is protected against any kind of impact. On the contrary, the Nexus 6P comes with an oleophobic coating and Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection for its display.

Software, OS, Memory

Running on Android v6.0 Marshmallow software, the Sony Xperia X touts a Qualcomm's MSM8956 Snapdragon 650 processor. The smartphone comes in two variants- 32GB and 64GB, along with 3GB of RAM. The biggest plus point is that the memory is expandable up to 256GB with a microSD card, GSM Arena reported.

As for the Huawei Nexus 6P, the phone runs on Android v6.0 Marshmallow and is fuelled by Qualcomm MSM8994 Snapdragon 810. The device comes in three variants- 32GB, 64GB and 128GB and 3GB of RAM. However, there is no provision for expandable memory bas there is no card slot in the device.

Camera

Sony Xperia X's primary camera is 23MP and the secondary camera is 13MP, while the Huawei Nexus 6P has a primary camera 12.3MP and the secondary camera is 8MP.

Battery and color options

Powered by a non-removable Li-ion 2620 mAh battery, the Sony Xperia X can stay charged for two days consecutively. Buyers can get several color options to choose for the device that include white, rose gold, lime gold and graphite black.

On the contrary, the Huawei Nexus 6P has a more powerful battery which is a non-removable Li-Po 3450mAh. Apart from this, the device is available in frost, graphite and aluminum colors.

Both phones have similar connectivity options like WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth v4.2, Android Headlines reported. As for the price, the Sony Xperia X comes at US$698, while the Huawei Nexus 6P is priced at US$888.87.
