The Golden State Warriors could add Larry Sanders in the team's already loaded lineup as the free agent center attempts an NBA comeback.

The Warriors may not be done yet in building the supporting cast to the team's core roster of stars consisting of Kevin Durant, Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green. The latest rumors around the league have Larry Sanders hinting a move to join the super-team in the Bay Area.

Sanders sent out a cryptic tweet, posting a screenshot of the movie "The Warriors" from this account that sparked speculations he would join the powerhouse in the Western Conference. While there is no confirmation whether the Warriors would truly consider Sanders, the team does have two remaining spots available in their dream roster.

Sanders was waived by the Milwaukee Bucks in February last year, with the 6-foot-11 center working through "personal issues" that time. During the 2014-2015 season, he only played 27 games for the Bucks, averaging 7.3 points, 6.1 rebounds and 1.4 blocks, while playing 21.7 minutes per game.

Just weeks after reaching a contract buy-out with Milwaukee, Sanders revealed he had received treatment for anxiety and depression, and had insisted he will return to playing basketball once he is capable to doing so again.

In a Q&A with Alex Kennedy of Basketball Insiders, Sanders revealed he is still enjoying basketball and admitted he is in a better situation to restart his NBA career.

"I have season tickets for the Los Angeles Lakers and I love watching and dissecting the game. I mean, I love this game. I really do. I love to play it, and I do still play a lot here in L.A," Sanders said.

"But there were some things about it, some situations, that I didn't love. But I feel like I'm in a much better place right now and I'm equipped to be able to put myself in that situation again."

Sanders would give the Warriors a big man capable of scoring and defending the paint. With the Warriors having a starting core of young veterans, the 27-year-old center would immediately fit as a dynamic piece at the center position and complement the All-Star-studded lineup of Golden State.

It remains to be seen whether Sanders would truly consider signing with the Warriors, but it seems he could be among the players the team is looking to lure at a cheap price. According to ESPN's Tom Penn, as reported by CBS Sports, Warriors executive Jerry West hinted that the 2015 NBA champs are on the verge of signing another "pretty good player," which may turn out to be Sanders, considering the thin pool of available veterans in the market.

The Warriors do not have the money to sign Sanders on a big contract, but if they could lure the former Bucks center at a chance to win a NBA championship, Sanders could be the final piece of the Warriors' super-team.
