Season 7 will mark the end of the storyline which was based on the previous novel ''A Song of Ice and Fire.'' The showrunners Benioff and Weiss hinted that the season 7's telecast will be delayed. According to The Hollywood Reporter, season 7 will revolve around the conflict between the man and the white walker for the Iron Throne. Till date all the seasons of this popular HBO series were aired during the spring season, however, it seems the tradition will be broken this time.

"We don't have an air date yet," clarified the showrunners to the magazine. "We're starting a bit later because at the end of this season, 'Winter is here' - and that means that sunny weather doesn't really serve our purposes anymore. So we kind of pushed everything down the line, so we could get some grim, gray weather even in the sunnier places that we shoot'' they clarified further.

The season 1 was aired between Apr. 17, 2011 and Jun. 19, 2011 and season 6 between Apr. 24, 2016 and Jun. 26, 2016. However, it seems that season 7's storyline will start diverging from the original novels. The showrunners clarified that certain key elements might remain the same, however, the readers will be surprised after they read the book, Entertainment Weekly reported.

As the fans saw the appearance of Samwell Tarly (John Bradley) in three episodes during season 6, the viewers may prepare themselves for more surprises. Season 5 ended with the brief assassination of Lord Commander Jon Snow (Kit Harington) and the viewers saw Sam moving away with girlfriend Gilly (Hannah Murray) and her young son.

Even though Sam was successful in his ordeal to save his loved ones and start his training as a master of the Citadel in Oldtown, the viewers were hoping to see the love with his girlfriend blossom more. He later came down to be with his cruel father Lord Randyll (James Faulkner) and then headed towards Oldtown.

Now the viewers want to know where will the story turn in season 7 after the finale ended with a question mark when zombified Gregor Clegane took Septa Unella behind the closed doors. Watch this video which talks about the spoilers of season 7.
